I’ve got the home décor bug lately. I wrote up a list of all the little things I want to do to spruce up the house, and it was two pages long! I tend to get obsessed and then overwhelmed, so today I’m starting off with something small. I got this vase a few weeks ago out of a dumpster from an undisclosed location, and decided to give it a little face lift.
I grabbed some yellow and grey yarn and my trusty glue gun and went to town. I just started at the bottom, made a line of hot glue, squished the yarn into it and kept repeating until I got to the top (with a few color changes along the way). Easy as can be! It took me less than an hour, and look how cute it turned out:
Now I have a fun little vase that will brighten up any space, just in time for spring flowers. This would be a great gift for Mother’s Day, too.
