Hello! Today I’m sharing a fun guest bathroom refresh I did at my mom’s house over the weekend. The old bathroom was fine, but it has looked the same for several years now and it was time to change things up and bring in a fresh new look for summer. We’re both pretty excited with what we were able to pull together with just one trip to Target. Here’s our light and airy floral farmhouse bathroom:
And here are a few shots of what it looked like before:
The first thing we fell in love with was the floral shower curtain in shades of yellow, blue and green. It is just SO pretty that it became our inspiration piece and we designed the whole room around it!
We took down the standard towel bar and replaced it with an old chippy wooden ladder that my mom picked up at a yard sale years ago. We also hung those three ceramic flowers on the wall. All the heart eyes for those!
Now it’s the perfect place to hang towels! Aren’t these fringe edged towels so great? I love the texture and farmhouse touch they add to the design.
We picked up a few of my go-to accessories for any design project: greenery, photos and candles, and used them to style the rest of the room.
This next picture really shows off the pretty fringe detail on the towels. And that soap pump? So cute!
See that gold and marble side table next to the toilet?
Not only did it give us another fun texture and pretty pop of gold, but guess what? The lid lifts off and is the perfect place for…
… toilet paper storage! Isn’t that so clever?!
A few updates can really freshen up a room, don’t you agree?

Nice job. This is simple. And it is budget minded. Anyone can use your ideas to improve their bathroom.
