The star ingredient? Chobani’s new Meze Dips! They are a creamy dip made with Greek yogurt and loaded with real veges, herbs and spices. I picked them up in the deli section of my local WalMart.
Then I simply chopped up some vegetables and arranged them in clear plastic cups so guests can grab a cup and go. I used red, green and yellow bell peppers, carrots and cherry tomatoes, but celery would be a good addition too. My plan was to keep the dip separate so guests could choose the flavor they want, scoop some into the bottom of their cup, then have a portable way to walk around while munching.
Chobani Meze Dips come in four great flavors: Chili Lime, Smoked Onion and Parmesan, Three Pepper Salsa and Roasted Red Pepper. I liked all of the flavors, but I think the Smoked Onion and Parmesan was my personal favorite. I’m so excited to have a new vegetable dip! My go-to used to be hummus, but this new Meze Dip has 80% less fat and 65% fewer calories than the leading hummus, so I am not going to complain about that! It’s like grown-up Ranch dressing that’s actually good for you! Ha! I think I will be enjoying these dips often since I’m trying to be more health-conscious lately and get my daily serving of vegetables. You know how the saying goes: just a spoonful of dip makes the vegetables go down. Or something like that.
