Nothing beats ice cream on the Fourth of July. Give me ice cream and watermelon and I’m a happy camper! It’s only about a month until the big day, so today I’m showing you how you can dress up a plain ice cream sandwich and make it festive, patriotic and ready for the Fourth!
Adorable, right? You won’t believe how easy these are to make. It took me less than five minutes.
All you need are store-bought ice cream sandwiches and red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Start by pouring the sprinkles onto a plate divided into sections, like this:
Press the long end of the ice cream into the sprinkles:
Turn and do the short end:
Then turn it around and do the other side. Serve immediately or re-freeze until ready to serve.
That’s it! I love an easy, yummy treat and these ice cream bars definitely fit the bill. I can’t get over how cute they are! Something I didn’t expect is that they actually taste better with sprinkles! For real!
