Today I’m sharing a quick and easy project I made to spice up a plain hanging planter from Dollar Tree.
Our new home has a balcony off of the master bedroom. It’s on the front of the house. This is what it looked like in the Fall:
The two posts already had hooks on them for hanging planters, so when I saw these plain gray hanging planters at Dollar Tree, I bought two for the balcony.
The only problem was they were a little plain. So I used my Silhouette to cut a bunch of circles out of sticker paper.
Then I stuck the dots all over the planter, on the sides…
…and on the bottom, since that’s mainly what you’ll see from ground level:
It’s just a little change, but it sure turned these dollar store planters into something adorable!
Since we had a huge snowstorm yesterday and the day before, I think I’ll wait to plant flowers until I’m sure they won’t freeze. Can someone please tell the weather that it’s spring already!
