I’m so excited about the pretty craft I have to share with you today. I found the prettiest silk ranunculus bouquets at WalMart a few weeks ago and just had to find a creative way to use the flowers. This DIY project would work with any type of fake flower, though, so keep that in mind.
I used the silk flowers to make a lighted garland DIY decoration!
Didn’t it turn out so pretty? I love how the lights make up the center part of the flower. The whole garland twinkles with a soft, magical light.
I can totally picture this garland as DIY wedding decor.
I mean, come on! I’s gorgeous! And the soft blush colors are so romantic and dreamy.
I hung my floral garland in my craft room, but I might give in to my girls and let them have it in their bedroom. Maybe.
Want to make your own garland made of flowers? Watch this video tutorial to show you ever step of the process. It’s so easy, I promise!

Very pretty! The video won't play for me and I can't find it searching in YouTube. Is there anywhere else to get the instructions?

Oh no, Susan! The instructions are pretty simple. You just peel apart the flowers, removing all of the plastic pieces. Then push the light into the center hole of the flower petals. I'm sorry the video didn't work.

Love this! They are so pretty! Do you find that the flowers stay put on the bulbs and don't fall off? And that they don't overheat?

I used LED bulbs to avoid potential overheating. I don't recommend using regular bulbs… I don't THINK they would catch fire, but I'd rather stay on the safe side.
Some of the flowers stayed on tighter than others. If you're worried about it, you could always push the flower down further so that it's all the way at the plastic base that surrounds the lightbulb. It seems like they would be VERY sturdy if you did that.
