These clear storage containers are inexpensive and work perfectly for craft room organization.
I’m so excited to be moving into a new craft room soon.
Since I’ve got the craft room on the brain, I’ve been on the prowl for cute, inexpensive storage options. I found these Darice Protect and Store Organizers.
They are perfect for holding paper, cards and half-finished projects. And they come in 8.5×11, 12×12 and 5×7 sizes. So much better than the cardboard boxes my supplies used to be shoved in.
UPDATE: It looks like these containers are no longer available. Womp womp. So sad!
These containers from Michaels are the best alternative I could find:
They go on sale for $4.99 each or can be bought in bulk for $4 each. They’re more expensive than the Darice boxes, but they are more durable and easier to open, so at least it’s an upgrade?
I really like that they are see-through so I know exactly what supplies I have.
But they are a little plain as-is.
Adorable die-cut chalkboard label stickers to the rescue! Can it get any easier?
Now I can label each bin and keep everything dust-free, organized, and easy to see!
Just a quick tip… don’t forget to season your chalkboard labels before writing on them for the first time. It’s easy: just rub chalk over the entire surface, then wipe clean and your labels will be seasoned and ready to write on.

My daughter and I have been having fun poking around the Consumer Crafts website the last couple of days. Some of their purse hardware is really cute! And DD was happy to find beading supplies.

I really need to learn to click the Rafflecopter thing to see if there are extra instructions. 🙂 I would probably use the Cricut to make fabric monograms for some Christmas gifts I am working on. I hate cutting out those curves by hand!
