I decided to change things up in my living room for Fall, so I started by making this bias-tape pumpkin pillow:
I said I’d share the rest of the pillows with you when they were done. Well, they’re done!
I gave my pillows sweaters for Fall! Hee hee!
They were so simple to whip up and so inexpensive that I couldn’t resist. I found two sweaters at a thrift store ($2 each), cut them up, sewed them into a pillow cover, then stuffed my regular pillows right into them. Quick tip: I think rounded corners turned out better than square corners.
I am saving the sleeves to use as boot cuffs when it gets a little colder outside. Woot! Love a double duty project!
I love the cozy texture. And because I chose neutral colors, I can leave them until Spring!

I have been wondering what I can do with all of my sweaters now that I live in warmer weather. Great idea.

Kelly, I live where it's really cold, so I wasn't willing to part with any of my sweaters. That's why I had to get some at the thrift store! Haha.

They're beautiful and cozy! I can think of at least one sweater that I can use to make them, too!

The pumpkin pillow is adorable! And I love the sweater pillows too- I'll have to go to the thrift store and look for a couple of sweaters to upcycle.

Love these! What a great way to use sweaters that may be out-dated. Thank for joining, Jen! 🙂
