Making things brings me so much joy. I have used crafting and DIY as therapy for years! But even more than that, I truly believe you can choose happiness no matter what circumstances life hands you.
I started my blog in 2008 because I wanted to show my mom and sisters the latest projects I was working on. I was a new mom staying at home for the first time. Crafting became my creative outlet during naptimes. Then we moved to a new state and didn’t have internet at home, so I would ride my bike to the public library to publish my posts. One day my brother-in-law said, “Wait— how many people are visiting that site of yours?” and that was the day I accidentally started a business.
Today The Craft Patch is a premier digital media production company. I have worked with amazing companies, created content that has gone mega viral and made connections with other bloggers and fans around the world. I feel beyond blessed to have found this dream career. I couldn’t do it without my loyal readers who have stuck with me through it all. Seeing you make projects from my site is the absolute best feeling in the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here!
