These easy party appetizers are made with a crunchy wonton wrapper cup filled with creamy jalapeno popper filling and topped with crispy bacon. They are the perfect bite-sized party food!
The Super Bowl is just a few days away. Have you planned a big party? Let’s be honest here, I could care less about football. But I love any excuse to party! This year I’m stepping up my presentation and making Super Bowl food that is gorgeous but still has classic tailgating flavors. These Bacon Jalapeno Popper Cups fit the bill. Pull these delicious little appetizers out at your football party and you will definitely impress your friends. Plus they are perfect party food because you can just grab and eat!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- Bacon
- Mayonnaise
- Diced Jalapenos
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheese
- Egg Roll Wrappers
The egg roll wrappers were hard to find. I finally had to ask a store worker. At my Super Walmart, they were located in the produce aisle! Who would have guessed that?
Start by cooking your bacon until nice and crunchy. No soggy bacon, please. I baked mine in the oven.
To make the crunchy and cute edible cups, you cut the egg roll wrappers in fourths, like this:
Then carefully push them into a mini muffin pan.
While the cups are baking, mix up your filling.
Then stuff each cup with the creamy filling and sprinkle with bacon bits.
Spicy, crunchy, creamy, salty, smoky… these little cups pack a powerful punch! Add them to your Super Bowl party menu. They are sure to be a touchdown!!
