The nursery is done. My bags are packed. Baby clothes are washed and folded. The house is clean (well, mostly…you know how that goes).
So what now?
Fun little frilly projects!
A girl can never have too many hair bows. Right? Here are some of my favorite tutorials:
Basic Boutique Hair Bow
Multi-Layered Loopy Bow (great for using up little scraps of ribbon)
Korker Bows
Ahhhh…does it get any cuter than this teeny tiny pettiskirt? It’s newborn size and I can’t wait to use it in a photo shoot. I’m thinking satin, pearls and pettiskirt. I meshed the directions from HERE and HERE and added the rosette to cover a spot where my iron melted the sheer fabric…oops!
P.S. Isn’t the afghan in the background pretty? My grandma made it for me when I was a teenager and I treasure it!
Last but not least I made two fabric-covered wipes cases…one for me (it matches my car seat and diaper bag) and one for a cousin who’s having a boy the same time as me. THIS tutorial explains the method I like to use. A friend made one for me with my last and I loved having something so cute to carry around.
So there you go. Totally unnecessary, easy, frilly and fun crafts that are keeping me occupied until this babe makes her appearance.
