One more space in my home is decorated for Christmas. Only one space left to go! This is our front entryway:
It’s the first thing you see when you open the front door. I gave it a bold makeover this summer and I’m still ga-ga for the navy paint.
Since it’s got such a bold color on the walls, I decided to keep the decor neutral and natural.
I already shared the tutorial for making these wood-look cone trees:
I love the whimsy and texture they add.
The wood skis are from Target. At $3 each, I wanted to buy all of them. Aren’t they just the cutest?
I made the “Noel” sign from a scrap piece of wood that I framed out and whitewashed.. Then I just hot glued the wreath and the paper mache letters to the wood. Do you see the little peg doll baby Jesus wrapped in his swaddling bands? That wreath is my favorite part of the whole display.
I borrowed some glass jars from my pantry and turned them into snow globes. The plaid ribbon is from Michael’s.
The twinkle lights are really pretty at night.
The sled hanging on the mirror was actually a kids craft kit from Home Depot. All I did was add the paper wreath.
I’ve got one more space to decorate, then I’ll share my full Christmas home tour with you. Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season!
