Hi friends! I’ve been travelling all week (more on that later), but I wanted to pop in today to share a fun, quick and easy craft I made right before I left on my trip… an upcycled washi tape sunglasses case!
I needed something to keep my sunglasses safe in my carry-on bag at the airport. I did not want to get to my destination and have smooshed glasses. So I whipped up this little cutie.
I started with a plastic drink packet container:
I ripped off the label and picked off a teeny bit of glue. Then I went to town with my washi tape collection! (affiliate link)
I put washi tape on the lid to cover over the wording on the package. I just put all of my tape down, pushed it into the outer edge with my fingernail, then cut the extra away with an X-acto knife (affiliate link).
And that’s all there was to it! I told you it was a simple project. The whole thing took me about ten minutes, but now my sunglasses will be safe and sound at the airport.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a good one!
