Wood slice crafts to inspire you. Craft and DIY projects you can make using wood slices.
If you follow me on Facebook, you might have seen that I had a craft video go completely viral this past week. Last time I checked the stats, it had been viewed almost 18 million times! Can you believe that?!
Today I want to share more project ideas you can make using wood slices. You can buy them at the craft store or cut your own out of logs or branches from your yard. Either way, there’s something so charming about a wood round with all the bark still attached on the outside. I think you’re going to love all of these fun and unique project ideas!
Where Can I Buy Wood Slices?
Wood slices are available anywhere craft supplies are sold. I like to buy them in-person at Hobby Lobby so I can see the exact shape and size. I also buy them online through Amazon from this seller.
Can I Cut My Own Wood Slices?
Yes! If you have a downed tree in your yard, you can definitely cut your own wood slices. The only downside of this is that sometimes fresh wood can crack as it dries. The older and more dried out the log, the less likely it is to crack. Just something to keep in mind.
